Hello, and welcome to West County Strings!

At West County Strings, we are proud to offer the highest quality in violin and viola instruction.  Whether you are interested in beginning lessons for a young child who has never played an instrument before, supplementing the musical education your child is receiving at school with additional instruction, or helping your child prepare for grade school, high school, or college auditions, the teachers at West County Strings have the ability and desire to help your child reach their goals and their full potential.

The core of our instruction is carried out through weekly private lessons and group classes that match students with peers of their equivalent age and proficiency. These core elements are accompanied by parent talks, student recitals, and other special events. The result is a well-rounded musical education that builds a solid foundation of technique, upon which students can grow and develop, learning repertoire and growing as musicians and exceptional young human beings.

We are currently preparing to dive into our ’23-’24 school year, which beings Monday, August 21!
